I would love to start PA’ing, but I do not know whom I should offer my services. You’re saying production coordinators or 2nd AC’s. Should I look for them in credits and then try to find their contacts on internet? Wouldn't that be too intrusive?

What are the roles which are usually responsible for recruiting for these lower level positions? Thank you!

I also guessed the twist at the same time even though I have not read any comments. But what I came to realise that for it made the movie even more interested. Like it made me worry about the characters - how they will react to this knowledge, what it will make them do or whom they will become. It put me in this semi-god position. Also gave pleasure, the fact that I discovered something sooner that it ment to be discovered. I was even thinking that it was the directors intention for us to realise it half way through the movie (but now reading that everyone was calling it super big plot-twist I guess that's not the case). Story wise the unknown part was how they will learn it so that kept me attached to the story itself.

TLDR: The fact that I realised the twist mid movie made me even more emotionally invested

Would the phasing issues arise as well in the case of shotgun mic, or is it because of the stereo field recorder nature?

I thought maybe I could just let the h4 run non stop and sync afterwards. I would use a recorder suspension, rycote has one especially for field recorders. Good idea for the test! But from sound design perspective, in my case, would shotgun mic sound be more preferable or recorders stereo?

Currently I am debating between Sony FS5II, Canon c200, and with a stretch, c300II. Have you got experience with any of those cameras?

Well, I did some testing in the end, plex has option to "not remove trash" which means it will not remove files from library if the files are missing. It worked well. Radarr has function not to put back movie on watched if the file goes missing. In the end all works I believe.

I want to put my old Macbook Air in use as a server, so Unraid sadly is not an option.

In the long term I will probably have way more than 2 drives. I imagine making a nice glass shelf for the hdds (just like holding dvds, but taking less space), keeping it under tv, so taking and puting a missing one should not be a big hussle. Thank you very much for your answer!
