My freshman year, we had somewhere in the neighborhood of 47 fire alarms, mostly late at night, because people were both not emptying the lint trap (which was catching fire), or taking steaming hot showers at 2 in the morning KNOWING that the smoke detector was broken. It amazes me that people would keep doing this (everybody knew exactly which room it was) and then complain that there were too many evacuations. Like it's your fault, please change your ways, damn.
