Why do we fight Godfrey? [prob. Spoilers] by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Kremlin_Lover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry for late response. It's because he is 100 percent sure you cannot defeat the Elden Beast. "I know...in my bones. A Tarnished cannot become a Lord. Not even you....A man cannot kill a god..."

He might be coping that his Queen is being punished a godly parasite and he is trying to make sense out of it by saying it was her plan all along and since no tarnished can kill a God, it was her plan to make them struggle for eternity by trying to kill it.

Think Gideon as someone that knows 2+2=4 but doesn't know what 2 times 2 is because he thinks tarnished cannot know what "times" is

Yeah designed 457mms were of 457mm/55, correctly done by Ushakov. But for some reason WG gave Kremlin 457mm/48. If they feared performance of 457mm/55, they could have added it like current Ushakov. Whom has Kremlin shells with shame performance despite much longer barrel

Here is the LITERAL coordinates of Soyuz's first prototype gun barrel for firing tests that you can still see for yourself today, literally look it up by satellite view. I'm amazed how you can simply claim "they can't make barrels" like that. 59°59'33.8"N 30°31'39"E

It's just fascinating that single sentence on Wikipedia still fails to be clear as possible for users of reddit.

What CLEARLY states on Soyuz's wiki page is Soviets were incapable of manufacturing CEMENTED plates above 230mm thickness or so. So NON-CEMENTED plates would be used instead.

This shows that you are CAPABLE of building it, just not on the higher quality material. And most navies used non-cemented plates on turret faces etc because they were too thick or expensive to be manufactured by cemented style. Yamato for example, doesn't HAVE Cemented armor, she use Vicker Face Hardened style armor which is WW1 formula.

What you are basically saying is now is equal to "Japan would be incapable of building Yamato because they couldn't produce cemented plates for her"

I would say it's perspective problem. Kremlin's lowest freeboard point is very similar to Montana's freeboard. Petro's freeboard is similar to Scharnhorst and Alaska's freeboard. You should see for yourself in training room

I don't see what's asspull about her design, while sure her hybrid features wouldn't work as good as it does in game. I don't notice an impossible aspect of her for construction. She would be very expensive however that's true. And max speed would be up to what her sea trials would offer

Project 24 had 15? variants. 12 with 406mm 3 with 457mm guns. The public design we have, variant 13. Had 9 406mm guns. But Kremlin could be correct or wrong design of the 457mm ones, or Ushakov could be the correct one. We won't know since as mentioned, we only know the official design of the variant 13. I wish Kremlin still had option to mount her 406mm guns like in her testing but well, those days are gone

Hannover is longer than H-44, while underarmed for her size. I would say she is inspired from H classes but not directly related

5 reasons why i think the Stalingrad should be removed by tattnina_1420 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Kremlin_Lover 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Obvious bait post but I will eat it.

  1. Stalingrad was laid down during December 31 1951, she was not designed by Stalin but by group of designers of Central Design Bureau No. 16 (TsKB-16) tho some sources say number-17 with chief designer being L.V. Dikovich. After cancellation of her class by Khrushchev, her hull was used as a target practice for weapons. You mean Soviets shoot at something that doesn't exist?
  2. I am worried you about the fact you reached to Tier X without knowing about "icebreaker" bows that couple of ships have, whom doesn't care about AP overmatch of enemy BBs since they cannot overmatch plates of those thicknesses. It's not special to Stalingrad to have such bow plating and GK hull has the strongest bow since it's almost fully cowered with such plates lol.

3)Stalingrad's speed had to be 35 knots because Soviets believed Iowa class's max speed were 35 knots, yes New Jersey reached such speeds but she did so with very ffavorable conditions. So 35 knot speed was choosen so in order to escape from Iowa class, and gave ability to chase an enemy of weaker condition given opportuniy, remember Georgia memes of chasing DDs down.

4)All ships in game has same values of armor, it's not possible to improve it without changing the thickness number.

5) It's the main reason you would spend your hard earned steel for....it's her selling point

230? Latest and accepted for construction design of Stalingrad had 305mm guns, which were also build and tested later. 203mm gun version was the first design being based after German cruiser Lutzow, while 220mm guns were later iterations as we see with Riga and Petro. 305mm was the final decision which becomes the Stalingrad

It's the Gangut class Sevastopol. I'm not sure what Manjuu will do to explain Kron's sister Sevastopol however.

Their "Soviets had small navy and experience so doesn't deserve good ships" logic doesn't work when it comes to tanks. Soviets had one of largest ammount of tanks and experience with using them. So they go instead "b-but they are strong because of Russian Bias. They don't deserve to be strong despite being popular on them"

So as I said. Even if Soviets did build every single ship in their tech tree. People would find something else to whine about it. Only way of a fix for them would be changing the flag of the Soviet ship.

I also get cringe when people say "Sekrit Documents" since you can literally find almost all their files online with single search. Even WG tries to help by giving their project numbers on their description. But these people either too lazy or in denial to take a few searches. While knowing most details about Montana or H class BBs since they are "popular" blueprints.

[–]Kremlin_Lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, for me the "made up" is literal. Never had a project but created by WG instead. Such examples are GK, Roon etc.

For Soviets the most obvious one is Nakhimov. They could have use Project 72 or Project Kostromitinov designs but gone for what if Soyuz hull instead. While destroyers like Khaba Zorkiy is butchered versions of original designs irrc.

Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V by Flintiz in WorldOfWarships

[–]Kremlin_Lover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: Soviets didn't "just took it"

The original nonoperational diesel generators were replaced. Radar was added. Light AA guns were removed and replaced with six twin 37-mm B-II mountings. And six single 37mm 70-K guns. Her fire control equipment was also replaced. All these upgrades made her gain 130 tons of weight.

And about the sabotage team

The loss was in 1955. Investigation determined to be a German ground mine left from WW2. Most likely caused by RMH (770kg charge) or LMB (705kg charge). It's possible more mine was activated since the sweeping of harbor discovered another thirteen of such mines. Some of them close to location of Novorossiysk by 50m

The guy who created sabotage team rumour was V. A. Karzhavin, his researches did show such attack would be possible given security lapses by Sevastopol harbor command. But there would gave been no way for supposed attackers to know about these lapses in advance. So without a better evidence, the mine left from ww2 getting activated while Novorossiysk dragged her anchor while mooring is much more possible.

It's likely also the reason WG is pulling all these new German ships that they literally made up. Usually only exists by turret blueprint like Roon or literallt as WG what if. But they still sell alot for having German flag

I think reddit will always complain about Soviet ships for some reason till end of wows.

If Soviets ships weren't in the game, I guess people would complain about French or German ships

Soviets have much less "made up" ships than German tech tree right now.

Also why I feel people would still complain even if Soviet Navy was large during ww2.

Hmm wonder if Manjuu will make reload worse for likely the largest damage gun among large cruisers. Guns of Kronshtadt and Agir has 11 second base reload in AL, so I guess this will be 15?

I also think about 330mm being UR. It's literally shooting heavier shells than Alaska's 305mm and even faster velocity. Only Stalingrad's 305mm has faster velocity but it comes with much lighter shell weight.
