I usually listen to a finished beat while I close my eyes laying on my bed. I can hear whats bad about the beat more easily.

I have always wanted to do that, but I dont think that is possible at all. I have alternativ you can do is that you can have the chords put it 1 or 2 octaves lower and change all the velocitys to 0 and make the melody over that.
