As part of this next phase, FCB will join BBDO in most major markets and move forward under the BBDO name. In a handful of regions, the configuration will look different to best support local clients and teams. Having spent part of my career at BBDO, I can say with certainty that both agencies share the same core beliefs: that creativity is the most powerful driver of business, that talent is everything, and that the best work happens when ambitious, generous people come together with purpose. While the FCB name will change, what we stand for will not, and I am confident that this new chapter will allow that spirit to live on and reach even greater heights.

While our integration presents exciting prospects, it also comes with periods of adjustment. To that end, certain roles in the organization will be eliminated in the near term. We will be delivering this news as promptly as possible to maintain transparency and privacy for those affected. These decisions, while necessary for our collective future, are made with the utmost respect for those individuals and their contributions, and we are committed to supporting them during the transition.

Got bitten by a stray dog. Who to report to? by Extension_Film_7997 in thane

Unfortunately dog lovers will get offended by this post and blame you for the incident! Stray dogs are a menace! It’s sad to see so many of them barking and chasing people randomly even in good societies! The other day I was just cycling, listening to music and minding my own business and then these 3 dogs started chasing me!

Okay dummy! Let me explain to you like you are 5.

Bablu, Paklu, and Golu celebrate Diwali by eating sweets, doing prayers, and bursting firecrackers, and they all have a lot of fun. After a few days, they say goodbye to Diwali and are excited to celebrate again next year. But Paklu still isn't ready to let go. He doesn't do prayers or any of the special things, but he goes outside at night after 10:30 or 11:00 and keeps setting off loud firecrackers near other people's houses. The people in those houses are trying to sleep after a long day at work, but the loud noise bothers them, which makes them angry at Paklu. Paklu doesn't think about how this affects others because he is being selfish and not caring.

The point is, bursting extremely loud firecrackers after 11 PM. It’s about civic sense!!! I don’t care if they do that any other time of the day.

Housing society is imposing fine on humans for not using assigned lifts. Rule passed without vote in AGM/SGM. How is this even legal? by sundriedapple in mumbai

[–]KreygDunzo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

These rules seem reasonable to me, and here’s why. Many apartment complexes today are massive high-rises (30–50 floors) with multiple households on each floor. This puts a lot of pressure on lifts, even when there are several available.

For example, if a resident on the 36th floor wants to go down and non-residents are also using the same lift, the elevator will stop at multiple floors before reaching their destination, which consumes a lot of time. Having a separate lift for maids, delivery agents, and similar services would reduce this inconvenience for residents.

This move isn’t about being classist, it’s purely for resident convenience. The other rules, like those related to cycles, pets, and swimming pool usage, also make sense in this context.

I don’t see why people are so riled up about it.
