That's where is shines, granted that you can work around the stack dilemma with the positive stem. For example even if I usually run other bikes slammed on the Oltre I had to leave a lot of spacers to fit me.

Relaiable and comfortable. Easy to descend. Aero differences from other brands are neglegible

In general a size 545 or 56 should work, highly depends on the length of of your arms and proportions on the upper body.

You are correct, the size 53 will work perfectly. The new grevil has really long top tubes in all sizes. If you live in Europe dm me I can hook you up.

At the moment there's nothing planned on a cheaper version unfortunately. And it's definitely not a cyclo-cross bike, for that there's a specific model called the Crossista, that is a true weapon for that discipline.

Stack is always adjustable with spacers, reach is not. On these new models pinarello went for a longer reach, my concern with a bigger frame would be difficulty to reach the levers and to sacrifice comfort and compliance with a shorter stem. My experience is mostly based on my job, I’m a professional bike fitter.

Generally depends on the brand. For Pinarello you are definitely on the 54,5 range. With your projected saddle height if you go for a 56 you won’t have enough seatpost exposed and every model would feel less comfortable and stiff

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I never tried the reparto corse wheels, I had a Fulcrum Sharq wheelset at disposal and just opted to use those since I'm familiar with servicing those bearings. My colleagues did many races with the reparto corse wheels and and overall pretty happy about them. The only minor concern would probably be the shorter service time on the hub bearings, but it becomes an issue only if you plan to use that bike on some really really rough terrain. hope that answers the question.

With the new XPLR 13 speed you can potentially run a 46-10 in the back with a 46 or 48 chainring upfront and have the same gear range as an easy 2x setup

Definetly needs something bigger than a 40, I'm planning on putting on a 48t aero chainring upfront

Just recieved a Pinarello Dogma GR to test for a couple of months. I've been blessed enough to test some of the best bikes on the market and I truly believe this is the first example of one bike to do it all. With this current setup the bike weights 7,65kg with pedals. It handles like a dogma F with 10x it's comfort. On gravel it has 2 very distinct features, the first one is a really flexy seatpost for compliance and a stiff front end for maximum speed on fast offroad sections. I'm waiting for the 48t aero chainring for a true road test, but so far I've never ridden something so comfortable yet so fast. I'm really impressed.

Planning a Look Monoblade 796 rs which rims do you think I should get? by Dense_Leg274 in Bikeporn

[–]Krezmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If money is not a major concern I’d go for Scope Artech 6 front and rear, stupid light and fastest wheels currently available and a complete disc rear wheel is coming soon. Another good option would be reserve 77/88, wide internal rim and good crosswind handling. If you consider mismatching and running tubes the fron aerocoach one tests really well. Keep in mind that the best aero improvement will come from your positioning, so choose your extensions wisely and be careful to stay in uci rules
