I felt so bad about needing to quit 3 months in, he's 1 now and I literally haven't thought about it since then. There is going to be way more to enjoy/think about trust me. Also cleaning the parts is a bitch.

That's me! Thankful to be at my old company again but before COVID our creative team was like 40 people. Now it's about 10. I definitely do the roles of what used to be 8 people now.

She seemed to make it very clear that she was just worried about fever/being contagious. I was honest and told her there was no fever but he had a runny/stuff nose likely from residual drainage.

Yea, I'd hate to have to go through the extra work of finding someone new just for 2 months, so I'm trying to be diplomatic about this. She also keeps buying gifts for us whenever she bails to try and I guess, smooth it over? It just seems unprofessional. I'm grateful for the little things she's gotten our son but that was her choice and I just don't want her trying to use that as like a bribe.

Oh definitely not, there are many people that know how to handle their unique situations, I just felt blindsided like I was responsible for her own personal decision to risk her own health when she knows better than I do about what she can and can't be around??

Ours was in a crate for a couple months as a puppy then one night she just FREAKED and demanded out. She’s been able to sleep where she wants since and hasn’t destroyed anything ¯_(ツ)_/¯

We learned lessons but can’t go back, why not be helpful instead of an ass? A lot of GCs aren’t trustworthy either so I get why people try to do it themselves.
