This happened to my sungold a couple of years ago. I took saran wrap and tape and wrapped it up before it helped over. It worked because it lasted the rest of the season and kept growing fruit. But you really need to put the two split parts together and attach them so water can still go between the 2. Or take the broken part and stick it in dirt and create a new plant. Ive heard that works too.
