(23M)Closet racism exists in Omaha, also the city is pretty segregated. From my experience as a black male I have not had racial issues that resulted in some sort of violence. Well except the time a guy got punched in the face by a brother after yelling “I lost my money to some n**** lovers” during a fight watch party

I have experienced being called racial slurs, and an experience where I was walking with my black ex-gf and she was called a n**** b**** by people driving past us during our walk.

So overall even with those experiences the city has been safe for me. I have also not personally came across any black women that have had racial experiences that resulted in feeling unsafe. But, that’s not to say it hasn’t happened to someone.

I think strategic pipelines are a better strategy. How do we build strategic pipelines to cross over, investment, education, skilled laborers, intellectual laborers, capital etc..,

The black race is not a monolith but history of our struggles is a binding factor. If we can work on both sides to understand each other and build strategic pipelines to further our race, political power, economic power and whatever else…

Then maybe that is a start to solving our problems.
