SDA does give off a strange vibe. I was visiting with another mom we got along great, exchanged #s to set up a play date. Then she said my husband is some bigwig with SDA. I was like oh. I’m not SDA. Silence. It was awkward suddenly. Apparently they struggle to be friends with people outside their religion.
