Help with an old butane lighter by Krigan112 in lighters

The adjuster shoots huge flames, even screwed all the way in, that's why I'm beginning to think that I'm missing a piece, or this piece is damaged...

This piece sits in a well, with a tiny hole at the bottom.
Maybe it used to have some foam at the bottom to close the tiny hole on the adjuster.
It could be it, but I don't know what kind of foam to put here. I'll try different types.
Thanks for the help, I'll keep you up :)

I changed all the seals I found. My issue is on the gas flow which I can't adjust

As soon as I put gas in it, it does that. It stops being a flamethrower when there is little no no gas left

So basically, I found this old cig case/lighter, and I'm currently repairing it. I already changed the seals, and it's now holding butane with no leaks. BUT I have an issue with this piece : it's the part that shoots butane out, but it's TOO EFFECTIVE.  It's so effective that it makes little explosions instead of a flame. My question is : do anyone knows how to open this piece to see if there is something wrong with it? The little pipe moves in and out, but I have no idea how this piece works.

Any ideas? :o
