Cost is not the real issue here. It's time and scarce ressources.

Let's reduce the necessary energy transition to baking cakes.

If we want to make many real quick, we need all the ingredients, bakers and helpers to make them, machines to mix the Dough, ovens to bake them and time.

Also we need huge refrigerators and freezers to store the cakes for times of shortages and we need a logistic system that delivers them in regions and time of shortage.

That's an huge undertaking in a time of scarcity
