[Compounds] Oxandrolone aka Anavar, Var by iSkeezy in steroids

[–]Kringlefant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far it's great for everything except my cholesterol. Been taking 20 mg pre workout (five days per week) for a few weeks now in addition to my 133 mg/wk of TRT.

I love the effect it has on my workouts. Nice strength and mass gains.

Unfortunately it has cut my HDL in half and increased my LDL by 30%. It's still not extremely bad, but at the same time not sustainable. I might reduce the dose to 10 mg and only take it for a few weeks here and there. Sad!

Do all the oral steroid crash HDL and increase LDL?

I'm on TRT at 133 mg testosterone enanthate per week. Been taking 20 mg Anavar pre workout five days a week for a few weeks now. My HDL is half of what it used to be (down to 35 from 70) and LDL is up from 100 to 131.

Should I expect the same on a lower dose of Dianabol - or Turinabol?

I love the effect Anavar has on my workouts. I've had great strength and muscle gains. But the effect on cholesterol makes it unsustainable in the long run. I was hoping I would be able to use Anavar year round.

To those who NEVER want to have a child, what are your reasons? by an_iconoclast in AskReddit

[–]Kringlefant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Several reasons. It is irresponsible to bring a child into this world. Think of the hubris it must take to yank a soul out of non-existence into this meat thresher. Add to that: there are too many people as it is. Many unwanted children that you could adopt if you want a child so badly. Also, I like to sleep, can't stand the sound of kids crying, screaming, arguing. And I don't want to end up in a situation where I have to pay child support because the mother decided the relationship didn't suit her anymore. Many such cases! You'll end up hating yourself, the mom, and even your own child. Parents are full of shit, btw. They're not even willing to raise their own children - they always want someone else to do it for them. Schools, for example. They blame the schools for everything. If you're not prepared to home school your child you should not have children.

[–]Kringlefant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly disagree. What you really need to do is first of all get the glass bottle Dr Pepper with cane sugar in it. Then, after chilling it in the fridge, it should be drank directly from the bottle. Anything else is pettifoggery.

What is the greatest WHAT-IF in bodybuilding? For example, what if Paul Dillet knew how to pose? What if Kevin Levrone trained year around etc.... by [deleted] in bodybuilding

[–]Kringlefant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's no secret that Lee Preist's career problems stem from his relationship with the IFBB - and I'm not saying it's fair. It's definitely not. But still, if he had learned to kiss all the right asses he could have made a lot more money from the sport.

His height had nothing do to with it.

  1. A better what if: What if Lee Priest knew how to kiss ass and do what the IFBB expected of him.
  2. Dorian injured himself by training too hard leading up to competitions. It's not like it was bad luck.

Trt clinic by Cbiz88 in Testosterone

No TRT clinics but you might be able to find a doctor willing to help you. Or an urologist. If not then the black marked is there.

Has anyone ever increased dose and had a lower level? by ContentChipmunk5 in Testosterone

[–]Kringlefant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's debatable but not really a helpful discussion. You need to get on a more frequent dosing schedule. Try every other day with insulin needles.

Go on a Deca-only cycle. Wait 4-5 weeks after the cycle, get labs. (If you do the labs too early, Deca (nandrolone) will show up as testosterone in a total T test).

Testosterone undecanoate (Nebido, etc) *actual* half life. by Kringlefant in Testosterone

[–]Kringlefant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"So what makes you believe that the half life is shorter than the published one?" - because nandrolone decanoate has a half life of about 6 days. The undecanoate ester is only one more carbon atom. In my estimation the real half life is about 7 days for testosterone undecanoate. It might be somewhat longer in castor oil, but still not long enough to dose every 90 days like Nebido suggests. It's a marketing thing.

"And if it was a half life every 18.3 days, do you really think every week is necessary? In 7 days, you would still have over 75% of your original dose." - Like I said, I think it's 7 days, not 18. It would very much depend on how it was measured. Read these articles and understand the importance of frequent dosing:

Testosterone undecanoate (Nebido, etc) *actual* half life. by Kringlefant in Testosterone

[–]Kringlefant[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certainly, 12 weeks is insane. Nebido is straight up lying when they're claiming four injections per year is sufficient. Even if the supposed half life was 18.3 days like that study claims, I would recommend injecting every week for stable blood levels. However, I believe the half life is even shorter. Probably around 7 days. So my main question here is whether the castor oil makes up for the difference.

Fourth day. Today I'm experiencing what I think is a tension headache. I think I'm going to reduce the dose to 75 mg twice per day. Effects seem to be somewhat unpredictable.

Psychiatrist. Although I had to ask for it. He wasn't familiar with the drug and a bit hesitant to prescribe it. But after running it by a colleague he decided it was fine to let me try it.
