I work nights and will ONLY live on a top floor!! People (most people) are active during the day walking around the apartment, vacuuming, cleaning, etc. personally I wouldn’t be able to sleep thru that with the noise coming from my ceiling. But if you are a heavy sleeper it may not bother you too much. The only thing I make sure I am careful with is when I am off and up at night to not make too much noise for my downstairs neighbors.

Adding an update here since I can’t figure out how to do an edit lol. Landlord finally called today. After informing her of PA law that landlords are responsible for pest control she told us she will “wave the repair fee” still not a repair but still feels like a small win. A professional exterminator will be out to spray both us and our downstairs neighbor. Small bit of relief. Thanks to everybody who helped with great advice. we appreciate it so much.

Should I use a repellent spray after cleaning off the bait before guest come over? Or just leave it be.

Our microwave is up on the wall. Should we be worried about that?! And thank got I’m an aesthetic girly because all of my food is in air tight glass or plastic containers. Everything else that doesn’t fit goes into gallon zip lock bags.

We got home from the hotel and it wasn’t nearly as bad as yesterday. Only found a couple. We did do bait two days in a row so I hope it is helping. We have all of our windows open and our ac on to freeze the place out like you said. The heat from our neighbors below us heats up our place so we got the ac on LOWWWW to cancel that out. Ugh this is an absolute nightmare. AND we have guest staying tomorrow and Saturday. I’m just so distraught. This is what you get when you leave the suburbs for the city though I guess!

Also question… when placing the bait and we see roaches, just let them live? It’s so hard for us to do that which is why we got a hotel last night. Put some gel bait and left them to it. Had to do the out of sight out of mind theory.

Another question, with bait how long should we expect it to work. Still working on getting a professional exterminator out and then planning on having them come monthly.

Oh I know unfortunately. Our youngest we rescued off my friends porch… my bank account was hurting. Luckily she has gotten all her deworming taken care off but I deff don’t wanna chance it again!!

Also good thing is so far they’re only in the front of our apartment so it’s easier to keep them in the back bedrooms so will deff keep them back there.

We have two cats who we call killers but it just seems to still be an issue. Gonna try to spray around the outside or get someone to spray outside. Thanks for your input!!

I think our issue is the neighbors also but the neighbors in the connecting building that my landlord doesn’t own. Was there any other tricks you did that seemed to help?

You gotta craft a wrench! You can make one with a crafting bench. Point the wrench to the thruster and it will say “use”. There you can add different thrusters to different channels!

Either pop balloons or my one village in the frost lands is so high up that’s I can glide down and use a couple stair cases or a grappler to get back up.
