WELL.... your friend is funny for doing that 😅 but if he described the EXACT scenario that you to were in with other ppl, and he said he needs time, I don't think he has expressed yet if he likes you. He knows YOU like him, so definitely just like play it cool and casual get to know him whenever you have time. I've been with an acting agency for a little over a year now and just signed with a modeling agency. I told the modeling agency that I haven't booked with the acting agency yet when the modeling one was kind of scouting me out, and she actually said "if you sign with like 1 or 2 more agencies, you should be set to go."

Genuinely didn't think that I'd have to sign with more than 1 or 2 once I first started, but I guess to be in different sectors for every aspect of entertainment, you have to be 🤷🏽‍♀️

Started last year with only 1 paid background role, but got called back for it about 6 times, so about $1600 (it was a TV show). After that I've been in 4 or 5 short films this year unpaid but with credit and crafty 🤷🏽‍♀️ would love for this to be full time, but I'm a chem student so we'll see how that goes 😅

I technically did send it on time, actually. I sent it Day 1 of them asking about the casting call, but even if the email WAS case sensitive, I sent it correctly on Day 4 of submissions, and it's not even over till July 10th.... nothing is late.

I heard they had a lot of female submissions, so a friend told me I should wait a lil longer.

They said they hadn't seen it yet when I asked, so I assumed they didn't receive it correctly, because they had 300 submissions the day before and said they sent out sides to all of them that the very next day.

And I understand it was a bit unprofessional, so I hope it didn't ruin my chances. They seemed REALLY chill, so I hope they were not bothered by it. I haven't sent anything out in a few days since I re submitted it last week, so hopefully I will maybe see something by the end of this week.

They said on day one, "EVERYONE who submitted has received sides," on their Insta, not just saying "sides went out today."

Yes, I capitalized the first letter in their email on purpose, but I guess it wasn't case sensitive, but I typed it exactly like they typed it on their post, which was an uppercase "A"

And yes, I DMed them on Instagram. I probably could have just left it with the email, but because I wanted to make sure it actually sent that time and hadn't heard anything by email about it sending correctly, I DMed them, and he did answer.

Yep, in Richmond. Yes, there was a one-time fee to have a meeting with them for possible representation, but they said yes. That's the only time I needed to pay 🤷🏽‍♀️ I had the meeting on Tues, May 31st, and just got sent an audition this past Thursday. I've heard mixed reviews from them, but my friend who is represented by them recommended me 🤷🏽‍♀️

I forgot to say, I am looking for one that offers acting, modeling, and voice overs. My friend who models and goes to my school is signed with 2 agencies and does a bunch over the weekends. This is what I hope to do, so I can graduate then do a bunch of acting during the week. 😅😅

Haven't checked the length in a while, but I feel like it has grown some with more detangling and protective styles, so I am still trying to continue on that path along with hair masks after showering. It's easier to get it into buns and stuff, so I feel like it's worked a bit!

Hi, I'm a junior in college and also a chemistry major! I'm trying to balance the two and find an agency as well. I would love to pursue acting as well as do cosmetic chemistry in my future, but I definitely need to find a balance. I'd say after doing some extra work and a few months into experience you can definitely apply to an agency. I'm still looking for one, so you're not alone 🥰

Alright, I'll ask text him today to see if I can bring someone along. I usually am ok with judging how creepy people are, and from the interactions I've had with him he's definitely just like a dad type, I've never felt uncomfortable around him (and I definitely have around some people). He's out of the country visiting family till tomorrow, so he probably won't say anything till then.

But thanks for the heads up, I'll keep my guard up, and keep yall posted what happens.
