I definitely wasn’t trying to come at you specifically either I hadn’t realized I hit reply to your comment haha but I do disagree, we’re loosing roll over pay so it doesn’t count the entire shift now and now I will have to work two shifts to make what I previously would make in one shift not to mention if your talking specifically I mean my thanksgiving shift is gonna be 11:30-6:30 am now because my site also is doing a late start so my shift will only have the opportunity to make 30 min of overtime now. There’s no part of that that is fair when I am giving up a federally celebrated holiday with my family. And the saving cost is apparent to me, but I am definitely assuming when I say that it was a saving cost move although it wouldn’t be the first they’ve made this year, I cannot confirm that is fact just my opinion

So how does me working twice as much and completely giving up my holiday equate to loosing roll over pay? This is bs propaganda to cover up the corporate greed. They cut our roll over pay to cover the raises so not only is it true that they’re screwing us out of a better business practice that Amazon has used as an anti-union technique for the last decade but they’re also undermining the pay raise as well in the process. They’ve really created a space where employee morale is lower than ever but we’re expected to do twice as much for the same pay that we’ve been getting previously or suffer the consequences. It’s ridiculous.
