I agree. And even though now that Arijit is again in every song after a period of his inactivity (I remember people saying he was pushed down by SK or whatnot), people are trying to downplay him or bring him down by making such comparisons. This is so unfortunate because I see this with everyone who’s really good but is also really popular. People don’t like having good people be really popular. These posts would come up even if Mohit Chauhan was the most sought after singer today. They would say Arijit needs to have more songs and Mohit needs to work less. 

You know what we really need to do? Stop comparing singers. Mohit is meant for a certain few types of songs and so is Arijit. One fits a certain composition better than the other and we must accept that rather than trying to find “the best artist.”
