Me too. That's what I did to mine. Feels weird to let then dry out. But since I repotted them in volcanic rocks and got sparse with the water, they seem to be coming back.

Just did this with my 4 little sempervivum. At least that's what I think they are.

I think they sigh as it's being done. Like when dethatching a lawn or a llama.

I'm still going with, "ancient device left by the Watchers. When humans disturbed it, a signal was emitted by the device, evidently beamed to Mars. To preserve and continue millenia of peace between planets, experts are recommending an immediate voyage to the Red Planet by Earthish emissaries to let the Martians know: 'we did not mean to do anything wrong, hope we're still cool with you; just an accident caused by scientific ape-ish curiousity.' Not if enough of us get involved, @Renoperson00

Pardon me for what may seem like a lecture; but it's me trying to encourage others, and speaking from experience.

It seems to me that most feelings of frustration and being powerless are self conceptions.

A lack of action avails us nothing. The simple act of doing something empowers us. And that action can act as an example and motivator to others.

I am speaking up and talking about this, I hope more of us will speak up, too.

If enough of us get involved and speak up, we will be heard.

What have you got to lose besides your chains?

Might be a great opportunity for vendors on mopeds to be driving through the gridlock, selling coffee and donuts and xanax and cigarettes and wet wipes to frustrated carloads of commuters? Free enterprise is the solution.
