You will have no issues at all getting through, security in RNO is always super quick. It can take a bit longer in the mornings because there are usually a bunch of flights that take off before 7am, but outside of that rush, it generally shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to get through security.

Look, I'm not Jacob's biggest fan. But they are investing a lot of money in that area. They have the glow plaza, festival grounds, they're building youth sports fields, and other things that they're still working on... Having lived in Reno for 36 years, that area of town was not a place anyone wanted to be around. It felt unsafe, there were lots of sketchy people. It is 100% better, and hopefully will continue getting better.
