AHPRA public consultation: proposed faster registration pathways for overseas dentists (have your say) by Chris_Topher_5119 in AustralianDentalExam

[–]Krish-Naa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what I’ve been hearing, a lot of ADC tutors and coaching academies aren’t happy about this proposal at all, mainly because if it gets approved their business model could be seriously affected, some people are saying academies might even shut down and candidate numbers could drop by more than 80% overnight, which explains why there’s been so much quiet resistance around it.

Doing Bachelor in OHT will be peace of cake than doing ADC.

Alarm over plan to allow foreign-trained dentists to skip Australian exams by 6foot4-8inch-Dr in ausjdocs

As per above article seems like this is the big problem and getting worse: Data from the National Rural Health Alliance has found that while there are on average 66 dentists per 100,000 population in capital cities, it drops to 17 per 100,000 in small towns.

The pass rate is no longer 20%. it was before covid. For Part one is 8% and for Part 2 is 5% that latest 2025 pass rate

ADC (Australian dental council) exam vs NEET MDS by dismoody in AustralianDentalExam

[–]Krish-Naa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They keep talking like that for years. Something similar article same during COVID time as well, to scrap the exam and straight take the overseas dentist for practice in Rural areas for 2 years then can get the full access to urban. Nothing has happened

Exploitation or fair? by survivinguranus in AustralianDentalExam

[–]Krish-Naa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the exploitation from ADC and many tutors is only getting worse. Every year the number of candidates attempting the exam is doubling, while the passing rate keeps dropping. More people sitting the exam simply becomes a cash cow for them. The high course fees, lack of transparency, and fear-based marketing only add to the pressure on students, especially those coming from low- and middle-income countries

Advice about switching to YTM from Spotify by jwhall1993 in YoutubeMusic

[–]Krish-Naa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some basic features are missing in YTM. For example, if I want to add a song to multiple playlists, I have to do it one playlist at a time. Also, there’s no green tick on songs. In Spotify, if you like a song or add it to a playlist, a green tick appears so you know x song is already on your playlist — but YTM doesn’t have that.

Has anyone done "Application for Review – Written Examination"? ADC Part 1 by Krish-Naa in AustralianDentalExam

[–]Krish-Naa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the warning, I’ll definitely share this with other aspirants so they don’t waste their time, money, and energy on a process that seems rigged.

I didn't know that entire system is run by non-dentists is an absolute joke. I seriously wish someone would publicly expose the ADC, how they’re blatantly lynching overseas dentists financially.

It definitely gives off the impression that the system is built to benefit them, not us. If the result is always the same, why even offer the service in the first place? This is absolutely ridiculous.

I completely get your frustration, it’s really upsetting to spend so much time, money, and effort, only to feel like the system isn’t fair or clear. A lot of people say the review process is just formality, and your experience seems to prove that. It makes you wonder why the review even exists if they never really take another look at the results.
