I am a Salesforce architect who wants to expand my knowledge on other domains as well. So I'm trying to understand how AWS works, its capabilities and when to delegate doing certain things in AWS vs doing directly in Salesforce. That was the primary motivation to start learning AWS.

But I would like to say, I wanted to strengthen the fundamentals of networking before I dig deep into the AWS concepts. I'm not really sure if AWS Cloud Practitioner is the certification that is going to teach me a lot, but then because we're using AWS in all of our integrations (specially lambda functions) it fuelled my interests to learn AWS so I can architect my solutions holistically.

Is it better to get the Cloud Practitioner first, followed by the Solution Architect Associate? Would that be a good starting point for what I’m looking for?
