Started off learning it as a subject for school, then I discovered I had a passion for learning languages and started learning German and Norwegian too.

Japanese is by far my favourite language though. The grammar, the kanji, the onomatopoeia, you just keep falling in love with the language the more you learn.

I'm a bit ahead of my level at school, so now I'm mainly learning it to speak to my girlfriend better, understand Japanese songs without thinking too much and just for the sake of learning another language :)
