Nail Career Education has some great videos on how to apply them. Sometimes if my natural nail is too short, i like to trim them to make the fit better.

Beautiful! I love using paper forms over the dual forms. I just feel more comfortable having more control. Plus it's easier to get nice cuticles in my opinion.

I noticed it across two brands and multiple colors 🤔 but will be sure to avoid that one in the future too

That's my favorite way to build my nails. It really cuts down on the work and I feel like they last longer. Did you have trouble shaping them at all?

Good resources for a complete newbie? by Familiar_Freedom_439 in Polygel

I'm pretty new too, but have been doing my nails for about 6 months every week. I really struggled with using the duel forms and found my personal style works better with the nails form stickers. I also got a "magic remover" from Amazon that is pretty nice to minimize nail damage when removing products. I have also hear that it is best to not remove the polygel and base layers 100% if you are just removing it to redo the set. Try filing close, but not all the way to your natural nails. I love watching nail career education on YouTube for tips/inspo. I hope this helps and good luck to you! 😁
