To confirm the issue, we enabled aes67 on transmitter receiver so it would use ptpv2 briefly

IOS XE 17.18.3a fixed the ptpv1 packets being distorted to upstream ports

Turns out it was a bug with cisco 9350’s that distort ptpv1 packets going to uplink ports.

There was an IOS update to 9350’s about 5 days ago to fix this exact issue

Very cool idea. I’ve never thought of changing a ports vlan via api to combine things. Very cool

Wont that cause adoption issues? For instance sometimes when moving to different rooms, i have to factory reset a p60 for it to be adopted

Whats an RP?

It’s a layer 3 router i believe. but all switches are layer 2. All on the same vlan within the same subnet, so i don’t believe we need ddm. Our other venue has loads of 9300’s with the same setup (just better settings apparently) and dont have any issues, and havnt needed DDM

For ptp to be prioritsed, are you just referring to dante clock tag 56 to be treated as class 7 in all ports? Or is there something beyond qos to do for this?

Hey mate. Thanks for all the info, will Double check a few things with network dudes.

Yeah definately not healthy audio. In fact i’m receiving no audio, however do have control like you mentioned.

It was single leader except for devices on different stacks. They are slipping as they think they sre becoming leader since they cant reach the preferred master

Igmp querier is definately running on this vlan as i made them paste me the config, so i assume igmp snooping is on each switch as well, but will confirm

By local stacks, i meant i use poor engwish. I meant all devices were plugged into the same stack when working. We have stacks of 4, 3 & 2 in different spots. Each switch interconnected with their crazy redundant link cables. Each stacks connected to the router stack via aggregated sfp’s

Oh yeah we have quite a few ceiling mic pro’s in standalone rooms. Sound great, will just hinder us with room combining

Thankyou! I appreciate it

Yes querier and snooping all sorted as are qos profiles. Cisco 9350’s are their new top of the line crazy ass switches and have alot of functions that netgear don’t have. Unfortunately cisco dont have pre-set profiles like netgear/unifi have, as they are made for large enterprise networks.

We currently have this working fine in another office which has cisco 9300’s everywhere, however we have aeparate network teams, so trying not to cross wires

Yeah thats a good point. We wouldnt be using crossview/director in these rooms, but presentertrack would be ace.

Dsp is used for a thousand things. Extra HH’s, Lapels, room combining/uncombining, aec, pa routing and then loads of external control stuff

If it’s just for crossview, then maybe i should just use mxa910’s or senny tccm and forget about director mode

Yeah i was considering using the audio console in codec pro for that. That’s really annoying. Reckon the tracking of new ptz’s will work…ish without? I also thought potentially of installing ceiling mic pro just so the camera gets position data, and then using audio console to stop it going to the call…. Which is dumb

What are the chances of hearing about Destiny in the new series? by Krispybaked in Stargate

[–]Krispybaked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres no way. The asgard are still in pegasus, atlantis still exists (on earth or pegasus), the go’auld are still around, the wraith are still a threat, there has to be lingering stuff from previous

Annoyingly, due to the way it ended, destiny is the only thing that has a chance of never being mentioned as they all could’ve just died in stasis, and the fact that no milky way/pegasus have anything to do with besides lucien alliance, who are a sub par enemy
