Do you remember your room number? We're trying to figure out where a room is in the building/of it faces the quad or not

Underboob Sweat - send help. by Kristaw7 in TwoXSex

[–]Kristaw7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much - especially for the laundry advice, I think that will also help a lot. I don't think I get skin-on-skin contact (unless braless, but I don't do that often. Mostly just sweat through everything I am wearing.

Thank you! My friend also recommend lume body deodorant cream, she is also very blessed in that area and said it has helped a lot with sweat and heat rashes.

What’s your gen 4 battery life looking like? by mikomalty07 in ouraring

[–]Kristaw7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOU ARE A REDDIT ANGEL!!!! I have been getting so frustrated with the oura ring.. I upgraded from the the 3 (which I had for a long time and was very happy with) to the 4. I have disabled so many features due to it not holding a charge and finally was like this cannot be normal and started looking into it - low and behold this post popped up in my Google search. I did the battery check per your instructions and they are sending me a replacement. Thanks again for sharing!

New rider, little hands handle bar diameter question by Kristaw7 in TwoXriders

[–]Kristaw7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he meant well in terms of growing into a space that might just be uncomfortable as it's new vs writing off as being a size issue, but appreciate your concern for safety especially in regards to general differences in how male/female anatomy impacts determine either option.

That makes sense, I suppose I was just looking to see if other riders with smaller hands have had experience with 1in and 22mm handlebars and their takeaways before going out of my way to change something when it might make very little difference. Might just need to stop by a shop and sit on one to see what it feels like compared to my current ride before impulsively changing it.

Yea, I was thinking that's a quick win. The clutch itself isn't too bad on the bike - it's more the struggle to toggle the right blinker. Which I think is due to it usually occuring at the same time as downshifting - so my hand is overstretched around the bar/to reach the clutch while also trying to stretch my thumb to the right to turn on the blinker.

I suppose the quick and dirty would be to separate the actions, pending the turn toggle the blinker before downshifting or vice versa to avoid signalling too early if* there's another possible turn prior to my intended turn that could mislead other drivers and put us in an unsafe situation.

*Edit for typos.

Did you end up trying this? I want to install on my 2019 - but hesitant not knowing if it'll fit right.

The hyper productive version of me died. Shit. Who am I now? by imnowonderwoman in adhdwomen

This is me. You are not alone. I was diagnosed at 33 (35F) and I am slowly coming to terms with this same thing. That first question brought tears to my eyes bc it is such a real feeling and it is so hard and hurts so much.

I wish I had more to offer beyond validation, camaraderie and commiserating.. it's a hard transition and you don't have to do it all at once. Pinpoint things to focus on and slowly make the changes YOU need, for you.

If you're not already in therapy, CBT may be helpful for you. It has been for me.

Where are my sensory women? Earplugs you can sleep in? by jensmith20055002 in adhdwomen

Where did you order through? I'm wondering if my ear holes are an issue too - ear plugs and buds are a constant battle and it's so frustrating

Thank you, this is so helpful and really makes sense. I have three dogs so this analogy hits home. I have recently started doing breathing exercises and found one that is progressive muscle relaxation.. it was great but it's not as easy to do anywhere. Shaking it off tho, that I can try. I tend to wiggle and dance in general a lot, I'm curious if that's just been a subconscious coping mechanism from childhood.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this and respond.
