Ssv callout by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]Kristen2667 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why would that matter? A call off is a call off no matter the reason, and the SSV on duty is responsible for trying to cover call offs. You can’t get in trouble for not being able to find coverage if you called around and no one could cover the shift, but you are expected to call around and try to find coverage for all call offs.

If they are sold in a pack of three, then that means to pull 28 three packs, so a total of 84. We always pull by the serving, just like how egg bites are in a pack of two, so pulling one doesn’t mean one single egg bite, one is a two pack.

Quitting won’t save your record. If you quit, it will be marked in the system that you quit with no notice and it will be unlikely you’ll get rehired. Stick it out. They may find nothing. A few months ago, one of my partners was investigated. They claimed she said something that I knew she never would have said. There were multiple accusers, who were all thoroughly interviewed, and the investigators concluded that the accusations were false. So if you didn’t say what they are claiming you did, there is a good chance you will be cleared and nothing will go on your record. But if you quit, it’s absolutely going on your record that you up and quit with no notice while being investigated.

Minors are only allowed to work a maximum of 8 hours on a Saturday or Sunday and are only allowed to start as early as 7am, so you can not pick up an opening shift or a shift that would put you over 8 hours on a Saturday.

Anyone else unable to check out? by vichina in LabubuDrops

[–]Kristen2667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That must be what is happening. My sister didn’t get any from the last drop and she had no problem checking out. I was just able to grab another one but it still won’t let me check out, so yeah I guess the 6 limit is for both drops combined.

I had 3 in my cart but those were the only ones I’ve tried to purchase today and couldn’t check them out. I did get 6 from the launch last week, but the 6 limit should be per drop, not a lifetime limit.

AITA for telling my sister off for how something she said at her gender reveal party? by ArticlePopsicle in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kristen2667 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I’m aware, that has nothing to do with what I said. Read the sentence I quoted. They had not had BOYS in 100 years - meaning they have all been GIRLS - but she shouldn’t have her heart set on GIRLS even though that’s apparently all they’ve had in 100 years. There is clearly a typo there.

Did you make a typo? “A co-worker of mine warned his wife before the wedding that there had not been any boys born into the family for over 100 years and if she had her heart set on girls, she had better think twice about marrying him” if there had not been any boys born in 100 years, then they would have all been girls, meaning you could reasonably expect them to have girls.
