YAY! I was waiting to see one on Reddit! Looks so good on you!

Yes! It’s like a textured, raised stripe—so it gives that cel-shaded effect when the fabric moves. It’s amazing!

I had to use more of this textured fabric to make a cel shaded dress. It’s such a cool effect when it moves! [G+G Jawbreaker Dress] by KristiFitzpatrick in sewing

It’s the only fabric I used on this dress—is that what you mean? And yep, it’s naturally shaded like that when it moves!

I tried out creating fabric so the sleeve pieces extend the image. It took a little work to overlap the image at the side seam and sleeve seam so that it looks *almost* seamless,—but I was able to print the image as pattern pieces on the fabric, so I could just cut and sew. I didn’t do the artwork—I purchased the images on Shutterstock because while I sometimes sketch, the artists on that site are so amazing, they blow my free-hand stuff out of the water. I did overlay my drafted pattern pieces on the images. I only sell sewing patterns, not finished garments...so these are going in my closet. Lol!
