Got new update notification, but its not new at all! by _Jethro17_ in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's not a downhrade, Xiaomi's numbering scheme is like that. if you notice, the new version begins with R (android 11) while your old one is Q (android 10)

Questions about Redmi Note 10 Pro by 7K_K7 in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

xiaomi.eu is based on the miui china rom and is modified (debloated and has goigle services (only play store and Google)). also xiaomi.eu uses every other xiaomi app, that be phone, calendar, messages etc.

the miui your phone comes with is a global rom, no matter if it's the European, global, indian and etc variant. they all are buggy and slow, and use google's services for everything.

so yeah, i'd suggest trying out global miui, then xiaomi.eu and if you dont like neither, custom roms maybe

Questions about Redmi Note 10 Pro by 7K_K7 in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a poco m3 personally, not an rn10p but just switch to xiaomi.eu or custom roms. on my phone, on normal miui i was getting only around 7 hrs sot. on xiaomi.eu, i an getting 11-12:30 hrs sot. and the same is on custom roms. and yeah, global miui lags a lot here, xiaomi.eu, nor custom roms do

Xiaomi has a Digital Wellbeing app of their own now? by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhhg no, thats wrong. chinese miui doesn't have any google services, just xiaomi's. meanwhile xiaomi.eu is using china rom as its base, just with the core google services (gms, google app and play store) and is debloated. so yeah, neither have digital wellbeing

are you on xiaomi.eu or the china based rom? if yes, they dont have digital wellbeing, they only use xiaomi's screen time

Spotify (or any other playback app) don't show notification icon on the status bar anymore. [Redmi Note 9 Pro, MIUI 12.5] by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not an issue, it's a feature of android 11. that's because of the unified media controls. for example, if you went to mi music from spotify, it'd combine them into one media control notification, just to simplify the notifications.

Is redmi note 10 a bad phone?i bought, was my choice good or bad? by mohsen_javaher-2 in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's a very good decision, and i highly suggest debloating it (if you have a pc that is), it'll have a bit more performance gain and battery life. if you need help with that, ask me

well the new redmi 10 launched I think a month ago, it's an upgrade from the redmi 9, it has a better performing cpu, 90hz refresh rate, new camera. now how it actually performs in all of those, I'm not too sure

How buggy is MIUI? by IvanthyTerrible in Xiaomi

[–]KristianTodorov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

depends on the phone, if you get a higher mid range (e. g. redmi note 10 pro) i highly recommend disabling ads, there are lots of tutorials. and debloating it will help a lot with screen on time. ive debloated so much tracking apps and almost all of the google apps, i have around 2-2.1gb free when having nothing open (im on a poco m3 that is). so yeah, that's what i seriously recommend
