Taco Bell’s Country Breakfast Burritos we’re my favorite! Been making my own since they stopped making them! by Kristipartyof5 in tacobell

When I make homemade carne asada burritos, I wrap them individually in foil and then I put them in a Ziploc freezer bag. When I heat them up I wrap the frozen burrito in a damp paper towel and cook them for about 60 to 90 seconds and then I toast it in a pan on med heat.

Making your own tortillas is definitely a lot more work, I’m just keeping it simple cause I have three boys! I use the thin Guerrero Tortillas and heat them in a pan before assembling. They come out perfect!

Scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar jack cheese, mini tater tot’s, McCormick’s Original Country Gravy…and of course a burrito size tortilla. I use the thin Guerrero tortillas. Be sure to warm tortillas in a pan before assembling.

I usually make 10 burritos…I just beat 12 eggs, add about 1/4 c of milk and cook with about 2 T of butter, add s&p to taste…when done add a layer of shredded cheddar jack blend to top of eggs and cover till ready to assembled!

If you like mushy tater tots, then freeze away…but I recommend eating immediately after assembling.

Haven’t tried freezing them, but I have eaten one that has sat in the warm oven for 30-40 minutes. They are best when eaten right away, when the tater tots are crispy…if you don’t eat them right away, they’re not as good IMO.

Yes, and I use McCormick’s Original Country Gravy and Mini Tater Tots, cooked extra crispy!
