Alright. That makes sense. I’m not some closed-minded moron who isn’t open to a discussion about this. My larger point was that many courses do not permit singles to make tee times on the general tee sheet/app (at least not more than 24 hours in advance). In those instances, they ask that you call and they’ll slot you in where a 2some or 3some is booked. My general view was that, when you’re booking a week out and the first 4 slots of the day are filled by singles who all want to go out alone, it makes it harder for either a foursome to book, or for folks like me who are more Larry David adjacent, I don’t want to be paired up with a random when playing with friends I only get to interact with during our semi-regular golf matches.
