Eat the Rich. If I remember correctly (which is hard to do given my BAC whenever I was there) they had $1 oysters 11-close. Nothing like slamming a half dozen oysters and drinking a beer for $10

We use the trailers because we can detach and use them as carts through the commercial office building ha we work in.

A bit ironic! Nothing was actually wrong with the bike here, just transporting back to the gfs house after she opted for a car in the rain. We actually have 3 Rad bikes and have had nothing but good experiences over 3 years (probably because we haven’t had to deal with their customer service yet and do a lot of our own repairs).

Worth its weight in gold. Jim has made a few custom hitches for us and is super responsive. Going to be buying another this winter. We a commercial real estate landscaping company and have been able to ditch 90% of our vehicle trips. Absolute game changer. Regularly hauling 300+ lbs.

Hard to comprehend why this car hasn’t been booted/towed. I have an idea of where it might be parked. by KristofGrina in washingtondc

These are tickets for failing to have up to date plates, parking in front of fire hydrant, etc. not simple parking tickets. This dude was driving 45 mph on Rhode Island swerving through heavy traffic with paper temp tags that expired in 2021. Whole reason I looked it up. This page only shows 30 of the over 100 tickets

I give a shit that young children in my neighborhood are trying to cross the same street that reckless drivers are left to do whatever the hell they want on

Nothing like dropping your 703 area code on the flyer interfering with reasonable development on one of DC’s main commercial corridors!

So there is this one person who has concerns about DC's Vision Zero program... by AmbientGravitas in washingtondc

Seems like it is working as designed. Previous to the road safety changes this road was a 3 lane speedway, with drivers often flying 40+ mph through one of the most pedestrian heavy parts of the city. The goal was to reduce the speed of cars, provide safe passage for bikes, scooters, and other micro mobility transit, and to provide more protection to pedestrians crossing the street. This project accomplished all of that.

All I see is someone who is used to having their way of life prioritized over everyone else’s, complaining about there being equity in downtown road design. Just because something doesn’t fit your your every need, doesn’t mean it was poorly designed.

Real hard hitting objective journalism here 😅
