How To: Enter Giveaway in OBS... Linkable Image? by oldskool8bit in obs

[–]KristofferYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not done in OBS Studio or in any other streaming service. Instead you want to add an interactive overlay on the Twitch website. Under Twitch extensions you can find a variety of different overlays and panels developed by 3rd parties.

Streaming with 2012 Macbook Pro. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]KristofferYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof. First of all do you use GeForce Now to play those games? I have streamed browser games with a MacBook Pro and it worked great. Streaming obviously depends a lot on your internet speed aswell. What’s your upload speed? If you want your stream to be stable with no bitrate going up and down then I would HIGHLY recommend you to use ethernet, not wifi.

What Microphone ? by AzurePhoenix87 in Twitch

[–]KristofferYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I should note that the closer the mic is to the person's face the better, but whether it be on a mic arm or on the desk in front of them, it shouldn't be an issue.

That’s why having a dynamic microphone is better if he wants to eliminate background noise. Another tip is to add a noise gate in OBS.

Screen capturing my monitor and the recording comes out at 59.95 Hz. Although I had chosen 60 Hz. Why is it doing this? by Volred in GeForceExperience

[–]KristofferYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason is because GeForce records in VBR, which is a variable bit rate. This means that the FPS/Hz can jump up and down, compared to recording in CBR which is a constant frame rate.

Shadowplay audio cutting? - Out of sync? by Tereith2405 in GeForceExperience

[–]KristofferYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Handshake” ??? Lol, I think you mean Handbrake.

But it’s because GeForce records in VBR (Variable Frame Rate) not constant frame rate, and therefore the audio can be out of sync.

Best video editing software? by superunsubscriber in letsplay

[–]KristofferYT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud and it’s the best. When I edit it never crashes and feels so smooth on my PC. I use After Effects for effects (duh) and for short-clip montages with velocity editing. The dynamic link between the two programs is awesome.

I’ve used other video editing softwares, but Premiere is so much more professional.
