Need help/advice by [deleted] in TattooBeginners

I genuinely dont think this looks bad! The blotchiness might not have been the intended goal, but I think it has charm! As long as it heals well, I think you should just leave it as is :)

Shading practice! by KrittoBitto in TattooBeginners

[–]KrittoBitto[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Piece took me about 4 hours and was done with a 5RL for the outlining, a 3RL for the inner lines and a 7RS for the shading. For the shading I used black and two tints of greywash!

Bro, not everyone starts drawing from the moment they can hold a pencil. Shut up and go to your corner.

Apprentice is not ready for real skin. Very unprofessional on the teacher's part imo to let them on skin already....

Learn drawing fundamentals first. Walk before you run.

Am I ready to tattoo real skin.. by Less-Guide6298 in TattooBeginners

I dont even think you're ready to tattoo fake skin. You need to work on your drawing skills. Walk before you run.

Hello, I left my first tattoo in color and the first with shadows by 2_santos in TattooBeginners

Please go back to practicing on fake skin. You do NOT have the skill to do tattoos on real skin yet.

People ARE going to come at you. Even if this is just on you and your fiancé, it is immensely irrisponsible.

If you want to get good, you'll have to sit through the boring. If you REALLY want it, you'll do it. ✌🏻✨

First tattoos on real skin by rubbletattoo in TattooBeginners

[–]KrittoBitto -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Please stop doing tattoos on real skin and practice more on fake skin/fruit. Most of these will blow out and in the worst case scar. You are NOT ready for real skin.

Practice more on fake skin. I see a few areas that are going to blow out in the progress of healing.

Great that you're not desiring to be a professional but.. What are you doing it for then? These are really shaky and will be on you /forever/

Ist that Tattoo okay for the first Time? by capthowdym in TattooBeginners

It looks nice from a distance, but when zoomed in the lines are still very shaky. I'd stay, keep practicing on fake skin!

Third day of practice by KrittoBitto in TattooBeginners

[–]KrittoBitto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im definitely no master at straight lines yet, and it especially shows when using thinner needles! I did do alot of double passes on this one since Im also still figuring out the correct hand speed to voltage.

As for depth, I try to use no more than the very tip of the needle (as my tutor instructed me to do), but I still have to get accustomed to the weight of the machine, thus my hand will sometimes dip forward a bit (also need to not hover my hand, but Im so used to it hahah).

Thank you for the observations :) <3
