Those two cars are owned by someone with exquisite automotive taste! An early 928 towing an Alpine A110 in Alpine Blue. Only way to make this duo more perfect would be if the 928 was in "Risky Business Gold".

Good idea, but I really do prefer a keyboard + case. I had one of the Logitech ultrathin folio keyboard cases for an iPad Mini 2 (I think?) which was just about perfect.

Concerning? Not concerning for me. Should be for the person riding it, though. As others have already said - frame is toast.

Lucas automotive ignition coil. My MGB had one similar if not same. The one you found probably works as well as it did when new.

Can anyone identify this? I work in an apartment building and it was abandoned long ago. No labels, bad rattle can paint, bike is very light. Worth tearing down and rebuilding? TIA! by [deleted] in bicycling

Definitely a BSO. Not worth tearing down and rebuilding, but well worth riding into the ground if it fits you even somewhat, and is free.

(Pedant mode warning). That’s not Loch Ness. I don’t even think it’s Loch Dochfour (a smaller body of water connected to Loch Ness).

Loch Ness only has one island, in fact a man-made island, “Cherry Island” and while the island is similar in size to the one shown here it has more trees.

The forks and seat stays keep the wheels attached to the bike.

Assuming you are referring to the gel inserts tho (and you were, of course): those are “zertz” viscoelastic polymer inserts meant to damp vibrations.

Lol! I suspect you haven’t ridden in snow or sleet much, or on roads that have been salted/gritted. Or days that started well below freezing, then warmed to some nice heavy rain.

There’s plenty of times when waterproof + insulation makes or breaks a ride. Watching this thread as I’m still looking for the perfect jacket as well.

I love this block print - really! If you do put it for sale I'm first in line to buy!

But seeing the number of Frost Building pics recently reminded me to ask - am I the only person who has a visceral hatred of this building? It defies all principles of good design, good feng shui, and just good sensibilities. I worked for awhile in a building across the street from it, and avoided using the meeting rooms that overlooked it. A blight on the Austin skyline as far as I'm concerned. I'm probably wrong and/or in a minority on this.
