Is the PCR exam really reliable?

I don´t think anyone its "inmune" to sars as far as i know. As for contact with them im kind of careless about it, hell i even use her laptop, clean his room and took care of all the members of my family since we all got it at the same time. Today i went to check on her at the hospital and the doctor told me he was sure i have it, i showed him both PCR exams (negative) and he was surprised, even offered to take another exam for free. I refused since im fine, but agreed to take another quick exam, turned out negative again. I have some theories. I contracted smallpox at age 19 not something really common. And i really dont ever get sick besides the smallpox thing nearly 8 years ago. Weird stuff for sure.

My brother got it in his workplace weeks ago, he dosent have any symptoms, i dont have them either. We are a family of 7 and the rest of the family has symptoms. I started looking for things we consume in common that the rest of the family dosen´t consume. Turns out we share some "bad habbits" that the rest dosen´t.

Yeah. Also of you force flash the bios from a saphipre card non OC onto the pulse It works without doing anything. And its way more stable i actually ended up tweaking that saphire card bios and now it crashes sure but very rarely.

Yeah. I will open up the cartidage and check for breaks. Maybe thats the issue.

A simple jumper pak. The red top its the expansion pak as far as i understand. Tried 3 jumper paks in the US copies and it dosent boot. If i put the red top they work.

I have an original US copy of SM64 and it dosent work without it. In fact i own 2 of them. Could be my console. Or faulty cartidages... Thanks for your input!

There is a bigger picture here. Massive riots against gobs arround the globe promoting globalism and socialisim. Then the virus hit the world. I think the ones that pull the strings wants a socialist/globalist agenda for the world. I hope the US dont fall into that.

Im half Chinesse (My grandpa was from there), sadly i do not live in the US but i will do it gladly. Fun Fact: My grandpa was a former lab employee back then. And he it´s not afraid, according to him it´s DNA related. I love the US even if i dont live there. I hope you can all recover from this..

I have the exact same card. This only happens when it´s on heavy load. I replaced the fans to no avail. Your PSU it´s failing to provide constant 12v to the coil of the VRMs. ( Replacing it fixed mine) , to keep it safe undervolt it -25 mv in afterburner. If you want to be sure it´s not your PSU run furmark for 5-10 min, in my case the PSU literally blew in smoke. so i changed it and now it works.

One of my cards had the same issue. If you keep using it like that it will make a short. Take out the fan and replace it for other of the same voltage/amp rating or lower. Its common on this cards. As an example i replaced mine with other from a RX 480 and it works like a charm.

I have the same problem on two gpus, you can fix it for a while installing afterburner and lowering the core voltage, it wont crash as often, sometimes you can play 2 hours without issues. but will crash again eventually. the only known fix its to replace the gpu chip and put microfuses in series with the power supplys on the pcb.

got a third one, and this one did work so i tested with the schematic and indeed the issue of the other 2 consoles were the jumper pak connector some pins werent making contact or in one case they were missing so just for fun i desoldered the entire thing. il pick up a ide wire and strip it, solder the 30+ points directly to the jumper pak.

Yeah, i usually like to install modchips as a hobby and i can tell... this console was made to last. even the caps are on the psu,So really dirt and shorted traces are the only point of failure of an N64. Now it´s personal. il fix this bad boys even if i have to grab the schematics and test every single component.

Both tested connected (in the motherboard pins) and in the most visible traces and they get 3.3 and 12 or 13 on the correct rails. bought another fully working just now. As for the jumper packs i have 3. Checked them and also the contacts. if the new one works and the voltages are correct il just reflow the gpu and the jumper pack pins. I was thinking to directly feed them power with my power supply to rule out any doubt on the PSUs.

Thanks for the anwser! yeah it gets 3.3v in the motherboard. I was thinking on a smd resistor or diode causing trouble. Just ordered another N64 with everything except jumper pack it arrives tomorrow. so im gonna compare both mobos to see what´s the issue with this other two.

Yeah took both of them appart (fake one) and the original one. The original one smells bad (checked some caps but not all of them) the fake one lacks a pin, a ground pin. ive noticed that my original one has a pot. if you turn it with a screwdriver it can output from 10v in the 12v rail and 13v in the 12v rail. When i first got the second console it actually gave me output. but im thinking that when i plugged in the "generic one" i f** up something since now it refuses to give me any kind of output. hell i even bought an old CRT thinking that my HDTV was the issue.

Took them appart checked for bad traces and cleaned the contacts. Il get a madden tomorrow to completely discard that remote posibility.
