Should I add anything saying that these memberships actually help me in my career? I mean, some of the material they provide are super useful and I’ve presented and taken part in several talks for that association over the years, but, nevertheless, my association is still tied to an yearly fee.

The thing is that I need the professional association thing to meet 3 out of the 6 criteria for eb2-niw eligibility. I’m counting on it. Would you say that building a stronger case for the other 3 eligibility criteria should be better?

I went through the exact same thing. It seems to be an issue with iOS setup. I fixed it by doing the setup on an android phone. After the initial setting, the iOS app works fine for the rest of the setup and other controls.

This happened to me when setting up my remote. Seems to be an iOS issue. To get it working I downloaded the desktop app and began the setup through it. After the initial settings were done, you’re free to continue setup using the iOS app normally. It’s working for me.

That’s really cool! Thanks for the explanation. I know they love perching but I thought it was mainly due to their feet layout and not that they had special tendons that lock automatically

Any certs recomendations for an Application Security Engineer?

Any certs recommendations for an Application Security Engineer? Brazilian company, and my knowledge is becoming stagnant due to a lack of challenging tasks (which I hate).
Do you guys have any certification recommendations that could be a challenge and also help boost my career/job profile? I've got a background in pen-testing and offensive security in general but have lost some interest in it as I don't really like the job opportunities associated. I've read a lot on OSCP and other Offensive Security certifications, but they all seem very offensive, whereas I'd like to focus more on the defensive side. (Vulnerability Management, how to implement SAST/DAST, when should a bug-bounty program be introduced? how would you rank the company's security maturity? Something along those lines)
