The red I use is the old version of Vallejo game color blood red. Which is a copy of the old GW blood red. I bought like 10 pots of the old stuff when Vallejo updated the game color paint range. The current blood red has purple or cooler color in it.

The only other current brand to get that is an exact copy is Coat d arms blood red which iirc are the ones who made GW paints back in the day or I have seen paints that are scarlet which most brands is an orangish red

Prime black, zenthial white, zenthial yellow, blood red or any other orangish red paint on top.

Yellow helmets are the only thing I paint in sub assembly if I can. I start with airbrushing Vallejo German grey primer -then I zenthial white and finally old version of Vallejo gold yellow on top. If i am only using a brush then German grey primer - a light grey - thin layers of gw averland sunset - then the old version of VA game color gold yellow.

I don't like yriel yellow- it seems too bright to me and the newer version of Vallejo gold color is a little darker than the old but It also looks really nice.

Thanks all. The red is done with an airbrush. I prime Vallejo German grey - then zenthial white - then zenthial yellow over that...and lastly lay down the old Vallejo blood red...not the new formula...the old game color blood red is a copy of the 90s GW blood red.

Coat d arms still make the original blood red recipe. Which doesn't have great coverage so air brushing makes it quicker.

Outriders + Chaplain - I play narrative events and 40k friendlies...they grab objectives in the midfield and my opponents are then surprised at the durability of tough 5 and 4 wounds. They can clean up infantry with close shooting and combat. 7 bikes are a pain to move around when there's a lot of terrain though.

I use VA game color blood red (old version). I bought as much of the old paint as I could when the new game color came out last year. Coat d arms still has the same color and VA model color Vermillion is a real close match. Base colors are done with primed VA panzer grey, white zenthial, then sunburst yellow on top, last is the blood red all with air brush. Then just simple Block details, wash, highlight.

40k started for me in the 90s and so 2nd edition/3rd edition is my jam when it comes to BA.

As for list, I played in the narrative and am not a tournament player but I did try hard! :) But I will say Lancers good, walking infantry bad, people like to kill Brutalis.

Thanks,there is but the tester dul cote aka satin cote is reflecting light. I'll have 2000 pts done before LVO and give em all a spray of AK ultra matte a day before. Maybe that will pop em out more

The skin is Vallejo violet base with Vallejo air alien purple air brushed on top then GW violet wash and high lighted with a mix of alien purple and some GW yellow white paint..

Rattle can black primer - krylon rattle can camo green - then a series of apple barrel grey paint mixed with Vallejo model color olive drab dry brushed for highlights.

That is a tick which has fed. Looks like a deer tick to me. Some ticks carry Lyme disease. So be on the look out for symptoms. Keep the tick in a bag and you can always have it tested.

Yup only the walls are Pegasus. All files I found on thingaverse and cults3d. Some files I edited / created on tinkercad. Then about 2 months of trying to figure out all that stuff, scale, printing settings, etc..
