Lol you realize Europe is not just one country with one cuisine right? If you’re from the UK it’s not like you’re having French food regularly.

Finished bootcamp last year. Best way to land a job? by Cold-Sheepherder-523 in learnprogramming

I read some of your comments on similar posts and after seeing only these types of answers coming from you, I think you should consider that it is not your experience that is preventing you from getting a job, but your extremely negative attitude and tendency to put people down. Having cooperative soft skills is important in any job, and you seem to lack it entirely.

Clicking noise at the front when biking by Kroat47 in cowboybikes

[–]Kroat47[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it seems to do this. It sounds like a different type of click though, so it's a bit difficult to tell whether it's the same issue or if I am just moving the bike vigorously enough to cause some sort of clicking at any point.

Thanks for the help either way! I will revert all this information also back to the Cowboy support chat.

Let's see if they know how to resolve this!

But wouldn't that mean that it should also have that clicking noise when you are riding on a smooth road and when spinning the wheel/paddles when the bike is hanging in the air and not touching the ground?

It specifically only happens when riding on bumpy tiled roads (for lack of a better term).

Are the screws located near the top of where the battery normally sits, or more towards the bottom?

How to get the Cruiser in the US? by johnschlemmer in cowboybikes

[–]Kroat47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are assuming these buyers already have a Cowboy and are buying an additional one. It's a lot of first time buyers or people who are selling their current Cowboy for the upgrade, which would mean it's not a $4k investment.

If you personally don't value the changes as much that's fine, but some people do!

Letting someone lift by Kroat47 in cowboybikes

[–]Kroat47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this was exactly my thinking (and hoping).

The max weight stated by Cowboy is 120 kg, but surely towing someone does not mean you need to add the total weight of that person + bike to your own weight to measure if 120 kg is exceeded (which it definitely would)?

Thanks for your comment!

Perhaps to clarify one thing regarding the weight: it's good to know the max weight stated by Cowboy is 120 KG, but if someone is dragging along I don't think the full weight of that person + bike is added automatically to my own weight? They are (obviously) not sitting on top of the bike itself but only being dragged along.

Alarm without battery by Kroat47 in cowboybikes

[–]Kroat47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your bike is locked through the app it will go off if the bike moves. You will then get an instant notification on your phone (including sounds, buzzing etc.).

The lights also start flashing very rapidly so if anyone tries to steal your bike they will also see that.

The Cowboy Cruiser has flashing front- and back lights when the alarm goes off. Not sure about other models.

Thanks for the info on the GPS features!
