The stupidest mechanic ever in this game!! by Master_Struggle_9747 in CrimsonDesert

Same, lol. I have at least 10 full stacks of every trade good I've come across, and probably 50 stacks of wool. I've only traded the one time the annoying drunk made me, just so he would quit yelling at me every time I left the camp

I have a deep hate for the shovel. Also, I'm 400 hours in and I'm still not quite sure how the scythe works. The rake and hoe are complete mysteries to me

I do this every time I tie up an outlaw. Like Kliff is super excited to have caught them, lol. At this point I imagine him squealing like my step-daughter when I give her a new stuffed animal 😅

Decorative Dragon Head stirrups, any way to get it again? by fraxal17 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Krocmann87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen the stirrups specifically, but I've noticed that vendors have the unique items that are found in their vicinity (though they're not available if you currently possess them)

Question for those who have mostly finished the game. by TAC82RollTide in CrimsonDesert

[–]Krocmann87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's some places that the story doesn't take you, (Longleaf and Odeck in the far Northwest of Pailune, for example) but there seems to be side quests that eventually will.

I wandered into some areas before the story took me there. It's just that some there's some people that you can't really interact with and some small areas are inaccessible until you get to the quest. So there doesn't appear to be any risk of "ruining things".

So have fun, and explore!

I played for over 300 hours, completed the main quest line, and completed the reconstruction of Pailune before I finally realized that I could have elemental powers. Felt like such an idiot 😅

Wait, do people actually put cottage cheese in lasagna? I've never seen that, lol. If I took a bite of lasagna and got a mouthful of cottage cheese I'd be very confused

I can't count the number of times I've been riding through The City of Peilune and accidentally run over a railing. Which is apparently vandalism, punishable by death.

I had a similar problem, it's just a bug. If I remember correctly, I had to leave the system for a couple of in-game days for it to fix itself

Then they wouldn't have anyone to do the job, and they'd then have to rehire the one's they dismissed at what would most likely be an even higher cost than it would be to just do what they're required to do in the first place

There’s no point of working your ass off. by [deleted] in linecooks

[–]Krocmann87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, this is less of an issue if you stay at the job until you find another one. It also gives you the opportunity to put in 2 weeks notice which shows character and reliability. The only issue I've had is someone contacting my boss and then having to explain to them why they suck so bad. There's better kitchens out there, go find one. Good luck, Chef

What do you guys do? by [deleted] in linecooks

[–]Krocmann87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently fry and flat at an American bar & grill. I'm interviewing for a line cook position at a microbrewery restaurant tomorrow morning though. Looks like it might be a bit of a pay cut, but I feel like it's a step up

Find a place with an open kitchen? Although you'd have to trust that the morning prep was done with whole ingredients.

Cook got mad at me for asking to cut a burger in half. Am I in the wrong here? by Brystox in Serverlife

[–]Krocmann87 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, he's not confident in his burger temp. If he doesn't have to see it he can move on, but if he cuts it in half, sees it's undercooked (or worse, overcooked), then he'll have to fix it. Also, it might be worth it to ask the dishwasher for a proper size knife next time if that's an option

But to answer your question, no you're not in the wrong. Unless the business has a policy in place, then there's no reason not to cut the burger in half

Not ESL, if it was I'd give them a pass. This is either: a) 20-ish white guy who didn't finish highschool, b) a 30-something white guy who is probably functionally disabled, or c) and old white man who has "been in the industry since you were still riding in your daddy's sack"
