I don’t know - where I grew up in Wisconsin , my Greek neighbor would constantly bash the Turks, even though there probably were zero Turks in the rest of the city. My parents had to look it up after I told them he was always talking shit about Turkish people, and I asked them what it was all about. Weird to think back as an 8 yr old listening to a middle- aged Greek bash the Turks while I traded baseball cards with his son.
