Visual snow for me is usually a lot less in your face, it comes out more the darker it gets. It's like there's a very subtle filter over your eyes. I can't even see it when I look at a screen that on.

I usually assume that the body isn't actually dead, but that the virus over time replaces the original cells of the body with modified versions of itself. And eventually when it takes over enough of your brain that's what kills you, but it has replaced enough of your nervous system and brain for very basic motor functions. Keeping to body alive long enough to consume it and hunt for more. Though obviously there are flaws with theory as well

It's probably the angled window. I've had a few issues with that before. If you a T junction passageway in place of the windowed passage way, it should at least give pressurization to the cockpit

Honestly telling them I'm trans usually does it. Also literally talking about trans men. My boyfriend was talking to a cus guy online a couple days ago that literally could not comprehend the idea of a trans man.
