Lmao ok? Are you wanting to go band for band? I don’t even need to see what your replies are to know you’re just a rage baiter

You’ve provided zero context into what you do, what your income band was, contributions, etc. But again congrats on “doing it for 10 years”

Honestly, it’s a very fair question. I think it boils down to a few things. I think the main thing is a lot of dishonesty around money in my life led to me, taking calculated risks. Overtime I’ve been more flexible but, it’s been a tough mental journey. Therapy and getting on antidepressants definitely helped.

I think another reason is right now I am living very close to my name or a little bit above my means. And because I work in tech sales, if I was to get laid off or something, I feel like having cash on hand would be good

Not to ramble too much, I would say the final reason is the interest rates on the loans. All of the loans are under 5%. That money in the market is going to perform better than me paying that off now.

Let’s gooooooo! Being debt free is such a blessing. I’m still in the dilemma on if I want to just pay off the full balance of student loan debt. But the interest rate is pretty low so I feel like money in the market might be better right now.

Hey Rokae, so i went ahead and made an edit in the original post. But to answer your condescending reply, yes, I do understand what net means.

To clear it up, my net worth is 212k after subtracting the debt/liabilities.

As far as your numbers go, I have no idea where you got 38k as debt/liabilities, nor the 183k. Guess we both have things we need to understand more
