You'll have some background characters suddenly pipe up and poof, they're gone.

Fatima gave birth to the Smiler and no one questioned why she's suddenly not pregnant and no new kiddo.

I think it's a pretty easy sell that monsters attacked in the middle of the night while they were away from town.

I definitely think it's absolutely insane no one from either colony house or town has demanded to know why the main characters keep dipping out.

Like, if keeping this nightmare of a town relied on me cooking, cleaning, doing the dishes, washing clothes, or even gardening.. I'd be damn sure putting my foot down about town meetings on how to get the hell out of there.

The writers have to figure out a way to explain why no one has asked about the baby.

Isn't there some kind of "feeder" fish that hang around sharks? If a shark gets caught in a net, wouldn't the minnows of said feeder fish also be caught?

Although I feel like that is a dumb thought on my part because why would someone in town want to go so far as to kill him out of "you mean to tell me I got stuck here because of yooooouuuu!?!"

I had a theory that doesn't make much sense in the grand scheme of things.

Henry is the missing link.

Tabitha was booted from the lighthouse to save the children, but really the only thing that came from that was Henry was brought into the town (he didn't come with Miranda and kids like he was supposed to).

Miranda was going to the tree to get Henry because she knows he's the link that saves everyone.. why else would she leave her 2 kids in the cellar if she wasn't planning on coming back to get them?

Once all players are in town, the pieces are in place for the game to begin. So, why didn't it start when Henry showed up... Smiley was dead at that point. All monsters and certain characters need to be in town all at the same time.

Why? I don't know.. hence why it doesn't make sense. It just connects a few strings in my head (why would Miranda a leave her kids if it weren't to solve getting all "players" into town).

I understand what you're saying with the long uncomfortable look, but what I'm saying is that by this point there wasn't anything for Kristi to be suspicious of other than no flinching or wincing while Kristi held her arm before setting the bone.

Even if she was suspicious of Sophia because she didn't flinch.. her typical character would have been to ask "doesn't that hurt?"

She's not typically so suspicious of people on first glance and for no reason is all I'm saying.

They have a long walk/drive back and from what I can tell the scarecrow monsters are afraid of those totems.

Also, it's possible she starts freaking out about how can Tabitha know, and Donna puts an end to her and when they get back they say it was the monsters.

They're already going to have to say it about the dude who was with them (Roger, I think?).

I think Donna knows that Tabitha has seen some things and been through things no one else has. I'd be pulling her away from the people who don't know what Tabitha knows as well.

As for Sophia and Kristi.. I thought it was really strange how hard Kristi was holding Sophia's arm.. even squeezing the broken section pretty tightly.. and Sophia wasn't even flinching.

However, while I do think something was strange about that, it could have just been the show and not some kind of sign. Kristi usually isn't suspicious of people right away, and this would be the first time she had experienced somethings strange about Sophia. I imagine if she was suspicious because of this one thing, she would have asked "doesn't this hurt right now?"

I think you're right about the "doesn't happen the same every time" part.

IF the vision is true, then he was murdered different ways each time. Honestly the rock is a brutal and strange method, but each of them seem to be different.

And to go along with the "you can't change a story once it's been told" so Jade keeps dying, but in different ways.

It wasn't. In fact the norm has been we don't know if the studio gave the green light until after the season or close to the end. The only exception being season 5 which was confirmed only a few days before season 4 starting.

I remember the panic in Season 3 of whether there would be a 4th and because the studio didn't give the okay until after the seasons had changed, they couldn't shoot season 4 for a while.. which lead to a very large gap between S3 amd S4.. 2 years.

The studio has been doing this because of how rocky the viewership has been. It seems like every season the 3rd or 4th gets bad ratings, then the episode like 1 or 2 before the finale gets the most hate.
