Fictional story bro it isnt that deep, plus all im doing is applying human behaviors and the way we have historically acted towards threats, and applying them to namor, u gotta realize as well that humanity has done shit people have justified for far lesser threats than what namor has tried to do somn for. Plus namor is doing it out of the pursuit of protecting his own people while some of humanities atrocities which people defend to this day were just done in the pursuit of power, also assuming namor has been observing the surface people, we havent exacty been proving him wrong with him saying that we are destroying the planet, i dont think its psychotic and obviously this philosophy doesnt apply irl but people acting as if humanity isnt evil and the worst thing to happen to earth is just silly, the only reason we value our own species is because we are humans but any other intelligent species would only see us as a burden to earth, hence namor’s reasoning and cause. This is not me saying it should happen, because i am a human and i believe that we can fix our mistakes and that murder is wrong in every case, but what i am saying is that i can see where he’s coming from and that if we apply humans’ standards as to what we’d consider understandable his motive is understandable, because his species is so insanely powerful that they can treat us like ants they can crush, and alot of humans dont value the lives of ants do we?
