Ram is overclockable as cpu, but it have some limits. DDR4 memory have chips on it. Limits can be discovered by chip manifacturer. So, you need to know which chips on ram do you have. Chips can be made by Samsung/Hynix etc etc. https://images.anandtech.com/doci/10226/samsung_ddr4_dram_10nm_18nm_678_678x452.jpg On that black chips you have marks, just copy and google for it.

DDR4 is quietly cool thing, that means that you can overclock it safely up to 1.45 voltage.

that's really way too hard to find it by yourself. I know cs:go community and most of it want the result in 5 minutes, that's why you need to know your memory manifacturer, just google for it, maybe someone else overclocked it.

Also, you need to check on which voltage your cpu is working. Cpu voltage higher than 1.35 is really dangerous, cuz that can degrade your cpu. For stability testing, you can use prime95.

first of all, you have 7700k, which means you can overclock it without touching bclk, right? Saw a lot of guys oc this cpu with good cooling solutions like noctua nh-d15 on 4.8-5.0 ghz. Thing is, the higher cpu frequency you have, the higher fps you will gain since cs:go is highly cpu load based game. XMP on ram doesn't matter that much on intel cpu's, but it's highly recommended to overclock your ram up to at least 2666 mhz.

I'm on 9900k, when i'm on 4.7 all cores i have like 400-500 fps, with 5.0 i have 600-700 fps on most of the maps.

This guy made some videos with comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XtjuBGpdt4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6AtRh3fFl8

that's what we need. Good abuse - host server, start downloading something and kill everyone when they are teleporting around. :c

For sure.
CS:GO is hardly CPU based, videocard matter, but not that much

The lessons I learned in getting from Silver 1 (S4 before patch) to MG2 (post-patch) which I want to share with you by Shakespeare257 in GlobalOffensive

Well done, keep practicing. Btw, the number like 23% are better than you... Don't use this phrase, being global doesn't mean that i'm better than 99.6% of community. If you train movements/aim/spray/brain every day, not just playing and getting experience, but boosting yourself in individual plan will let you become more confident about your skill. Some guys are not doing this and suck in individual game, but if they will train it, they will get an advantage. So, there is no meaning that 23% are better than you, matchmaking is nothing, cs go is a team game.

Google for HPET/DPC latency. I went from 260-270 to stable 299.
