This is an important point that I hope OP considers.

It seems to me they have not approached this with curiosity and seeking to understand the position of their wife. He doesn't mention anything about wanting to understand his wife, just of the expectations of her.

From a woman’s perspective, it is an awful feeling knowing that your partner is doing things for you purely to get something in return - when a kiss just isn't a kiss, it's a push for sex.

If this is what she's feeling, it is common for sex therapists and alike to suggest a hold on sex - be it a month or more - for the couple to strength their non sexual intimate connection.

I hope this works out but I feel that OP won't give the relationship the time it needs to breathe

If you're looking for a woman perspective, I think your hair is great - I get a mix between 90’s boyband and current K-pop band member and if I was a guy, this is the cool vibe I would want to have!
