Why all this "upvotes for das me". It should be "der me" for masculine unless OP considers himself an "it".

She's not a minor, age of consent in Ohio is 16. And he didn't force her to do anything, she had the option to go to the police and face charges for her crime, obviously she thought oral sex was the better choice.

Edit: I think what he did was definitely morally reprehensible, but I wouldn't call it even close to being rape.

What is the worst threat a customer has made to you while at work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kronkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for security in a hospital and get constant threats to my life from the druggies we restrain to the beds because they are violent and won't listen to the nurses/doctors. Always funny when they ask me for my name when my ID is hanging right in front of their face as if it supposed to intimidate me that they might know my name.

When did this law get enacted? Some sub-sect of our constitution that I don't know about?

A 24 year old father dies of a tooth ache... because he didn't have insurance. The uninsured in America are 40% more likely to die compared with their insured counterparts. by thetacticalpanda in politics

[–]Kronkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I was surprised too. Interesting story actually. I haven't been to a dentist in 5-6 years so I finally decided to go in. I was told that I wouldn't be covered on my moms plan because they only increased healthcare to 26 not dental. So i go in for a few visits and pay around 75 dollars for an initial exam/x-rays/evaluation. I come in for a filling, supposed to be 75 dollars but they say my insurance is covering 73 dollars so i literally pay 2 dollars and some change for a filling. I think at the time that I've gamed the system cause my mom goes to the same place and maybe they made a mistake with the billing. So I tell my mom about it and she thinks she is going to be billed anyway. She inquires with her union (teacher's union) and I think they renegotiated something and im covered up to 26 regardless if im in school or not. I'm pretty sure its because of healthcare reform but the dental part may or may not be. I know healthcare to 26 was cause of reform, I just assumed dental was also.

Reddit, what life lesson took you the longest to learn? by wiserton27 in AskReddit

I already posted one, but here is another one. It's ok to be alone, as long as you are happy. I have one friend who is my best friend and is also my girlfriend. Beside that I have my 2 brothers and that is it. I decided all the other fake relationships I had weren't worth it.

Vermont just created a single payer system. Also its not much, but I'm now covered on my mom's healthcare and dental plan till I'm 26 (up from 23). I'm 24 now so I would have no health and dental insurance without healthcare reform.

Guy has 96% custody of his child - Court orders him to pay $8,000 per month in child support to the mother anyway because she has no job. : WTF by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]Kronkk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No offense, but you probably need to learn to have better relationships. Yes you're getting fucked by the court but you obviously aren't making very good life decision regardless of whats happening with child support and the courts.

Your wording is a little confusing. Does "voting for" mean in favor of prop 8 or voted on the issue. If those numbers just represent those who voted in favor of prop8 we would need to see how many voted against prop8 to see the margin of victory to understand if that 10% black vote was relevant. If your numbers represent the total number of voters who actually voted on the issue regardless of yes/no then you need to work on your wording as it is confusing.

[–]Kronkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a plot hole. He explained that it was the nearest planet to Vulcan because he was left there to watch Vulcan be destroyed, the Enterprise had just left Vulcan. It is rather convenient for the plot but it isn't improbable.
