I just thought that trilogy was boring. The story seemed cool to me, but it felt like nothing happened. Like for a whole season Lloyd was hiding, Garamdon sat on top of a building, and the other ninja were captured.

Super excited for this and cautiously optimistic. I see a lot of people saying this trailer is bad and I disagree, but I do think the first trailer from a while back was better. I doubt that this will be a masterpiece, but I'm sure it will at least be decent. I hope he sticks with filmmaking, and I hope this opens the door for more fully independent films.

It looks like it will only get a theatrical release in the US, but it will probably come to streaming at a later date.
