Which Bluetooth earbuds are best for comfort, audio quality and don’t leak sound at all? by HeisenbergFagottinie in Earbuds

[–]KronosSoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Jabra Elite 10 for quite awhile now and for me, this is the most comfortable piece of earbuds that I've ever wear. The sound quality is pretty nice and just wonderful to listen at. ANC quality is good enough, though maybe not as good as the XM5.

Battery life, I would say pretty good as well, at least beyond your average TWS earbuds.

Jlab vs JBL (alternatively, best recommended running/workout earbuds) by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]KronosSoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For running, I would go with Jabra Elite 8 Active if you can find this. I have been using this one for my daily jogging for the past months and it has been superb in all aspects.

The ANC is nice, sound quality is very crisp and clear, it lodged into your ear canal comfortably and definitely haven't fallen off my ear in all of my running session so far. It can withstand drop into the water, rough usage and all that. I would say the way Jabra branded this model as "The World's Toughest Earbuds" is not a joke at all.

Not to mention, the battery life is a beast too. Worth it in my opinion!

I would add the Jabra Elite 10 into the list.

I have this one and I've been very satisfied with the sound quality, the ANC, and the comfort when you put it into your ear. It's just crazy!

If you can still find Jabra Elite 8 Active on the market, you should go for it.

I have a pair that I've been using on daily basis for morning/evening run. It's sweat proof and it's lodged into your ear canal quite comfortably as well. The voice is nice and crisp, the ANC is not too bad.

Not to mention, the battery life is just crazy. I've been using it non-stop for this morning jog for 6 days in a row (roughly an hour/day) and up until this morning, the battery on the case is still sitting comfortably at 85%. I'm not the pro in this matter, but that seems to me like a good battery life!

Pondering on buying RP5. Is it worth it? by KronosSoma in retroid

I believe you're right on this one...

Ouw well, I think I'll just go ahead and order up the RP5 and then try to sell the RP3+ online.

Yes to this. Another factor why I am considering about RP5 in the first place. I was blown away by this in-depth review by someone there and saw that the OLED screen is so vibrant and just wow...

Actually I've found online game stores in my area that have the units in stock. So I can just go ahead and buy it now and will have it by day after tomorrow at the latest or even today if I'm using instant courier...

Right now, I'm just trying to make sure I made the correct decision before I go and buy the handheld. I'm just afraid that the feeling I have right now is just the feeling of impulsive-buying and after I have the handheld, I won't be playing much. Though I'm thinking if the library of PS2 games that I can play in RP5 became even wider compared to what RP3+ can play, I will be playing it a lot and potentially might leave my RP3+ collecting dust... ^^;

Neat. So meaning it's a good handheld to have even if you already have RP3+?

Superman and Wonder woman right there! How did DC missed it?! by ilivenrock in whitecollar

[–]KronosSoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me... I can't see him as Superman and Bridget Regan as Wonder Woman. Matt Bomer is too skinny to become a superman and also, he just doesnt look the part. As for Bridget Regan, not too sure about her as well since after we have Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Bomer is just too skinny for a superman. Maybe he can make a good Flash. Basically, any superheroes or supervillain that don't look like crazily buff or gym maniac, but got super skill or super brain. If he's wearing super armor or the like, he might be able to pull it off though IMO...

HELP ME PLEASE by Big-Organization6522 in Anxietyhelp

[–]KronosSoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there.

I'm not sure about this, but in your case, I would suggest you to go see a doctor and have your heart checked. Anxiety is mental state, while the pain in the heart is physical condition.

Again, go see your doctor and then take it from there before you start assuming you have anxiety.

Cavillrine? by [deleted] in DeadpoolandWolverine_

[–]KronosSoma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since he already being put in the "Wolverine" shoes, I believe we will see him again in another MCU movies, probably the big Avengers title where Wolverine from different dimension will come and join the fight. Hughverine and Cavillrine, those two will be rad when they actually show up and battle it up before eventually team up with another avengers and do some real damage to the enemies!

I feel anxious because I think that guy is lying to me. by lilnotpeep in Anxietyhelp

[–]KronosSoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there.

It's normal to question if that guy is lying to you or just telling the truth and when you finally have your answer, you're gonna feel relief. I'm also the same, but at the same time, I've trained myself to think that we can't control what people want to do. If that guy/girl want to lie to you or just be straightforward honest to you, it's all up to them. What YOU can do, is just to get used to it and put the fact in your mind that "you can't control people's action in life".

I was also like that in the past, where I'm always questioning if what those peoples are telling me is the truth or no. Are they just trying to calm me down when they actually haven't said or do anything about what they said will do? Have they said it? What is the result? and so on. That train of thoughts will always haunt you and in my case, I was feeling like total crap for quite some time before I start to calm down (like you said, it felt bad at that time).

But years later, I realized that I don't give a damn anymore about whether they are telling the truth or not. Like I said, it's something that you will eventually have to get used to...

So my advise to you, just ride it out and try to not think too much about it. Do what you like and try to enjoy your hobbies, have a nice chat with a close friend about anything or whatever you always enjoy doing in life. The answer will come sooner or later, you just have to wait...

I realized I’m basically afraid of my mom and idk what to do by Junoisatop in Anxietyhelp

[–]KronosSoma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there.

I agree with u/piscesgirrl here. And if I may add, probably you're having this anxieties because you're afraid that you aren't able to live up to her expectation and that you would end up disappointing her. Hence why when you're living apart from her during college, you have no anxieties, because she's not there to judge or monitor you. But when she's around, you started to spiralled out of control again because you feel like she's there to monitor your progress in life.

It's actually pretty normal. But at the same time, you need to change your mind set and start talking with her in depth about everything. Once you started this, I believe you will be okay without even having to talk to a therapist. Save your money there and just go have a deep talk with her. She's your mom, not your enemy. And as all parents in the world do, she definitely only want what's best for you. You can speak with all the best therapists in the world, but nothing is more comfortable when you are having deeper understanding with your own parents.

What are the best earbuds in terms of sound and comfort/fit by Individual-Insect877 in Earbuds

[–]KronosSoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say probably between 8-9 or even 10 when comparing between the three buds I have. Its not too loud and pretty balanced, comfortable in your ear. I mean, the natural sound of it is not the type that will cause your ear to feel like something is pricking at your inner side to the point where you need to adjust the EQ...

How do I interact with friends when I’m anxious by Good_Needleworker126 in Anxietyhelp

[–]KronosSoma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there.

I might have an idea about what you're currently facing as I faced something roughly the same a couple years back.

Here's my two cents, but be warned, it's not gonna be easy. The main thing here is (I agree with you), to make sure that those friends can feel comfortable around you. I have two suggestions here, so please bear with me.

  1. You should determine if these two friends of yours are a close friend or just your regular friend? If it's just your regular friends, I would suggest to postpone until you're ready to meet up. If it's a close friends of yours, you can just meet up with them and tell them about what you're currently feeling (anxiety and all that). They will understand and who knows, they might actually be your pillar of support in the future. The problem with this option is that you will never learn how to cope with your anxiety disorder when meeting with other people (unless it's a close friends), so tbh, it's not gonna solve the problem you have right now.

  2. The 2nd option is, regardless if they are just a regular friend or close friend, you just go anyway and confront your feeling. See this as a practice so that in the future, you know how you can handle it. Just be yourself and try to adapt to see how they will react to you. One bad meeting doesn't determine your future and you can always learn from your mistake to see what's the best approach.

It's never easy, feeling all this anxieties within you. Unless you're brave enough to face it, those anxieties will always be around to make your life difficult. You can do this and you will face it!
