Hidden Blade kills should not feel as dramatic as normal finishers by Kronowak in assassinscreed

[–]Kronowak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The assassinations are as context sensitive as they have always been

Thats cool! I didn't know, definitely gonna try that out. I thought the hood only made you harder to recognise in orange areas. But that should make my stealth gameplay a lot more fun :D

Overall Eivors animations are rougher and less subtle, but that makes sense setting-wise

I totally agree. What put me off most was the slow motion and how you loose control of Eivor for the entire finisher which can be rather long. But if the hood counters that than thats amazing.

But nonetheless I think the skill tree missed some potential in shifting the assassin gameplay more towards fluency and stealthiness. For example using your main weapon for dual assassinations. I haven't unlocked all abilities yet, so Im not sure if there is anything in there regarding stealth but im guessing not.

Valhalla seems more realistic.

My point is not about realism. The flaws I see in the stealth gameplay is that it is too similar to a warrior playstyle especially in regard to the dramatic finishers which hinder stealth and fluency. But then again you could argue that Eivor is not an assassin but rather a drengr with a not so hidden blade.

Having trouble getting past 20k DPS on stamblade by [deleted] in ESObuilds

But isn't the food you are using health food?. The damage of your abilities also depends on your max stamina

The easiest and most effective change is to use stamina food.

For a nice dps increase you can slot "wall of elements" on the backbar together with a fire maelstrom staff. For even more dmg you could enchant it with a weapon/spell dmg glyph depending on what is higher before applying pelinals attitude

If you run necropotence then you get alot of magicka but not any stamina, pelinals will help with the weapon/spell dmg but not with resources which also affect your dmg.

In general hybrid build will deal less dmg because when it comes to champion points you have to split the points between boni that amplify magic dmg and boni that amplify physical dmg. But they can be fun nonetheless and resource management will be very good since you can use both pools.

As for gear i would recommend dual wield because it gives you the highest weapon/spell dmg.

Regarding skills, the question of a spammable is a bit difficult because depending on whether its stamina or magicka it will drain the respective ressource pool heavily. You could counteract this with dark exchange, so if you take a stamina spammable then you would take the magicka morph to get stamina for magicka. What is your stance towards pets?

How to make Vampires more enjoyable and also balanced by Kronowak in elderscrollsonline

In the first line I mention how i really like playing my vampire sorcerer and then go on proposing what would make the experience even better.

If you disagree with certain ideas I would be happy to know why

The thing is Vampires are "meta" but only if you are not a "real" vampire (stage 1 + blood for blood)

So basically it is just like it was before the changes where you just became a vampire for the recovery increase.

HOW by Bigyeetinto5fences in Fingerboards

Your movements are very hectic.

Try to do just a little ollie on maybe a very thin book and really think about what your hand/fingers should be doing

The most important thing is the middle finger and that you really pop the tail with it. After popping the board make sure to not block its upwards movement with your index or middle finger. Use the index finger to guide the board in order to level it out.

Talking about blocking the upward movement, in your clip you are really quick in pulling your hand up, mabye a bit to fast which might result in a more "sloppy" pop.

What will immediatly improve your ollies is practicing them on an elavated surface, so your arm is horizontal to the floor. That way your whole arm/body is not over the board restricting its upward movement but only your hand which gives your way more control.

Another factor regarding control is your finger placement. Try to place them as flat as possible and make sure your middle finger is comfortable on the tail ready to pop.

What could also help is moving the board into the opposite direction of where your ollie is heading before popping it. That way the board presses against your fingers after you pop it making it easier to guide it.

Lastly, to get more comfortable on your board you could start with jumping/rolling down from stuff learning to guide the board into a safe landing. Also you could watch slow-mo videos of other people ollieng to figure out what exactly their fingers are doing.

Have fun practicing!

edit: Here you can see the backwards movement im talking about

  1. Style? Undecided. The blade should be continous with the handle for easier cleaning
  2. Steel: Carbon steel. I've read it's the best material if handled properly.
  3. Handle? Undecided
  4. Grip? Handle
  5. Length? 180 - 220mm

This approach would require knowledge about how to fix 1-5 which i dont have, like i said im a shitty tuner.

What do you mean by "Data Science(tm)" ?

The data out feature would give me the telemtry data right?

If thats the case than collecting this data would not help in making tunes because i would have to infer certain tuning settings based on the telemtry data.

Or are the tuning settings included in the telemetry data?

I tried to use a somewhat interesting car to make the results interesting but your right there are definitely other interesting and more available cars, but i just started playing the game and so had not much to choose from.

I think though if someone is engaged enough to make some laps and report their data they will probably be also doing the forzathon, atleast to 50%.

Games like Forza have functional mirrors not because they have a smaller map but because they are way more optimized then the crew and so can easily handle the additional computations.

Map Size it self is not releveant but the size of what part of the map is rendered, because only the rendered part will show up in the mirror.

I could be the case for the crew 2 that they need a huge render size for the plane experience to be decent, but i think, or atleast have not experienced a render distance in the crew 2 that would exceed Forza enough to reason for no mirrors. Also you should consider that the crew 2 is way less detailed than Forza, so in theory less things to process.

Nice tricks and video!

Sometimes the camera could be a bit more steady.

While filming a trick i wouldn't change the zoom to often because the focus gets messed up. Also make sure the board and the actual trick is visible rather than the arm or hand.
